Gwyl Y Pethau Bychain, Machynlleth
Cawsom ni penwythnos hwylus iawn yn berfformio ym Machynlleth ac ym Mhenrhyndeudraeth.
On Saturday, we performed in the town which we now call home, the "ancient capital of Wales", Machynlleth, as part of Gwyl Y Pethau Bychain. Nel Jenkins opened the show with a beautiful set which had everyone in tears. Her lyrics are wonderfully quirky. We sing together in the Plygain group, Parti Heol Iorwrth, and we often sing together in local folk sessions. Check out her music! The venue was the famous Senedd-dŷ (parliament building) , a building which dates back to the 1400s. We had people up from South Wales, and down from the North, and friends and neighbours from Dyffryn Dyfi.
Diolch yn fawr Heledd Wyn am ffilmio. Dyma chi fideo o'r dau trac rydan ni am rhyddhau ym mis Ebrill, "Ffwl" a "Llethrau", yn fyw yn y Senedd-dy, Machynlleth
Ar ddydd Sul aethom ni i fyny i Benrhyndeudraeth i berfformio yn y Neuadd Coffa fel rhan o ddathliad o'r pethau mae Gwyrddni wedi bod yn wneud i weithio tuag at fyd cynaliadwy. Mae llwyth o gerddorion a bandiau enwog wedi perfformio ar y llwyfan yna dros y blynyddoedd! Rydan ni'n gefnogol iawn o Gwyrddi, ac yn meddwl fod community climate action yn beth hynod o bwysig, fel dwi'n siwr sy'd dod dod drosodd yn eiriau rhai o'n ganeuon. Rydym yn falch iawn i gael y cyfle i gyfrannu at y digwyddiad i ddathlu sefydliad mor wych. Dwi'n gobeithio ca' gyfle i weithio byw gyda nhw yn y dyfodol.
On Sunday we went to Penrhyndeudraeth in North Wales to perform in the memorial hall at an event to celebrate all the things that Gwyrddni and associated organisations have been doing to work towards a sustainable world. Gwyrddni are a community climate action network and part of the transition towards living sustainably in North Wales. Its critical work, and we are 100% behind it, as you can probably tell from a closer examination of some of our lyrics. It was an honour to be a part of this event.
